What is a superbill?

A superbill is a document that serves as a detailed invoice for services rendered by a healthcare provider. In the context of occupational therapy, it outlines the specific services provided during each session, including the corresponding costs. Although it is not a claim itself, it contains all the necessary information that insurance companies need to process and reimburse you of the services covered under your plan.
